Finally here (2003)

This was my proposition for the juried exhibition "Western" at Charlottenborg, Copenhagen 2003. The image is of my head edited onto George W. Bush's body. The idea was that if one is white, male and persistent (or sponsored) enough one will eventually end up in a flattering position. Some of the other participants felt that my gesture was inappropriate and that I banalised the carrier opportunity this type of exhibitions could be. I often think about that.
